February 12, 2019, Princeton, NJ — KOAMTAC®. Inc., a leading manufacturer of Bluetooth® barcode scanners, RFID readers and mobile point of sale (mPOS) companions has released a new Software Development Kit (SDK) with UHF reader Support and introduced a brand new Xamarin SDK.
The new KOAMTAC version 3.05.01 SDK is a main update for KOAMTAC’s SDK for Android, iOS, and Windows. This update includes RSSI (received signal strength indicator) related APIs for UHF readers for Android, iOS, and Windows. The brand new version 1.0.0 Xamarin SDK for Android and iOS is included as part of this main update.
Developers will be able to easily integrate KOAMTAC devices with their preferred tool and does not require extensive source code knowledge. And, with the addition of Xamarin support, integrating KOAMTAC devices across a multi-OS network has never been easier. Xamarin makes app creation easier by utilizing a single shared codebase for Android and iOS. Apps created with Xamarin have native user interfaces, native API access, and native performance despite being created with the same codebase.
